The role of the Dealmaker is much the same as what led explorers to these islands. In those days they searched for spices to bring through trade wealth back to their countries and please their monarch. Empires were built on such explorations.
After the age of Empire the modern explorer hunts and search and travels not by seacraft but aircraft to seek now technologies not foodstuffs. The aim is to bring these back through trade and investment and create wealth not just for their home country and the please their Monarch but also for the entrepreneur and his country too.
The task is the same. To seek to find and to yield – return. Property (intellectual now after the imperial age )remains the root of all wealth.
