India Protests – what they are really about

On BBC explaining: Indian protests are not about Tesco. They are about political opposition opportunity to mobilise people fed up of food inflation, fuel hikes, corruption, electricity blackouts, then conspicuous consumers telling everyone how rich they are off Government contracts. Tesco means millions of investment coming into country, means jobs for the unskilled thousands. Means some very middle class larger convenience stores are going to have convenience – but the typical village ‘larry-walla’ is not affected by Tesco in Kolkotta. http://youtu.be/BQ1b0dypayc
